I’m an E30 Oktoberfest first-timer. What should I know?

Welcome to the family! If you’re missing the DC motorcade, try to arrive Friday evening for the welcome reception so you don’t miss a beat. Bring a camp chair and a cooler for hydration and snacks, and a boomer board if you must. The E30 community is legendary for its hospitality; you’ll be drafted to pull a transmission or share a drink by a paddock clique before your engine even cools down.

Do I need a track-prepped E30 to attend?

No, absolutely not. Most attendees come to hang out, camp, and check out builds as we swarm around E30s. General Admission (GA) gives you full access to the weekend with zero track time required.

What if I just want to spectate and hang out?

Perfect! The $50 General Admission pass gets you through the gates and into the heart of the action. Enjoy spectating, the welcome reception, the E30 MOB car show, paddock activities, the raffle, the group photo, and, of course, our legendary Saturday night Jambalaya Party!

What if I have zero track experience and want to drive?

E30 Oktoberfest is your gateway drug… The no-pressure environment is perfect for you to dip your toes into the world of motorsport. Get on the track, learn at your own pace, and get real-time pointers from seasoned drivers. Many of our regulars started here as absolute beginners and haven’t missed a year since. Right, Aleena? Can I bring a non-E30 or a daily driver?

The event is E30-focused, but the Ofest welcomes all E30 enthusiasts, even the misfortunate, e30-less ones.

What about helmets and tech inspection for track passes?

Snell 2010 (SA or M) rated helmets are required for drivers and passengers. Closed-toed shoes must be worn.Inspect and fill out the Tech Inspection Sheet before the event. Backyard Bavarian will collect your forms and, after another once-over, award you a Tech Inspection sticker.

What’s the camping situation?

Primitive tent camping is included with every ticket tier. Facilities include bathrooms and hot showers.RV camping is available, but must be inquired and paid for directly to Dominion Raceway for RV hookups.If camping isn’t your thing, Tru by Hilton is our host hotel.

Can I bring family, kids, or a partner?

Yes! E30 Oktoberfest is fun for the whole family. Ask DeFlorios! Non-enthusiasts can look forward to paddock walks, the group photo, and the big Saturday night party. If registered, they can even increase your raffle chances and go on ride-alongs.Children under 16 are strictly prohibited from the pit lane and the “hot side” of the track during live driving and drifting sessions.Paced parade laps will be scheduled for parents to take their kids around the track.

Refund policy?

Full refund through July 31. 50% refund Aug 1 – Sept 15. No refunds after Sept 15.
